Terms & Conditions
By enrolling your child at Be Our Guest Performers, you accept these terms and conditions and sign your agreement to them as an ongoing agreement between you and Be Our Guest.
The Agreement is made between the parent/guardian of each enrolled student by a Parent and Be Our Guest Performers trading as Be Our Guest Princesses and is valid at all times whilst the Student is enrolled on any Be Our Guest Performers activity and until such time as written notice is given in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all Be Our Guest Performers courses, holiday workshops, and any additional services offered by Be Our Guest Princesses.
1.2 For participation of a student in a Be Our Guest Performers activity all Parents are required to consent to these Terms & Conditions by signature or by ticking the acceptance box for these Terms & Conditions when submitting an electronic application form online. These may update from time to time.
1.3 A Course refers to a course of classes offering tuition in dance, drama and singing which will be delivered during the Term. Course classes will take place weekly for a certain number of hours, as details at the time of booking.
1.4 Holiday Workshops refer to a Workshop run by Be Our Guest Performers during breaks between terms.
1.5 Term refers to one normal academic term of Be Our Guest Performers during which courses are run.
2. ENROLLING A NEW STUDENT AT BE OUR GUEST PERFORMERS
2.1 To apply for a place for a new Student at a Be Our Guest Performers activity, the Parent must agree to these Terms & Conditions and submit an application form either online or in person at Be Our Guest Palace.
2.2 Each Student’s place is allocated on a first come first serve basis. Applications must be accompanied by the appropriate payment / transfer.
2.3 If Be Our Guest Performers are unable to accept the student due to capacity reasons, the student may, at the parents discretion, be placed on a waiting list. You will not be asked to pay a deposit until you are taken off the wait list and accepted onto the term register.
2.4 From the date the deposit is paid, you have fourteen calendar days (cancellation period) to change your mind and cancel your students place at Be Our Guest Performers.
2.5 After the cancellation period expires, the deposit is non-refundable and will be retained by Be Our Guest Princesses.
2.6 If the start date of a Be Our Guest Performers activity falls within the cancellation period and the activity has finished before the Parent notifies Be Our Guest Performers of their desire to cancel, then the deposit is not cancellable or refundable.
2.7 Times, current term dates, fees, and all relevant course details for booked Be Our Guest Performers activities will be confirmed and communicated to the Parent via email.
3. BALANCE PAYMENTS
3.1 For a student enrolled on a workshop, the full fees are paid as the deposit in advance.
3.2 For a student enrolled on either a course or holiday workshop, following payment of the deposit to Be Our Guest Performers, parents are required to make a subsequent payment of the outstanding balance due to Be Our Guest Performers.
3.3 The balance must be paid in full, subject to any alternative agreements made with the Be Our Guest Princesses team, by the firstly of the term or holiday workshop by one of the following methods where offered:
- Cash
- Bank Transfer
- Debit Card
- Credit Card
4. COURSES
4.1 Once enrolled on a course, term dates for the next term will be made known to parents in writing by the end of the current term.
4.2 Unless Be Our Guest Performers are otherwise notified by you before the sixth week of a course, a stunt is automatically re-enrolled onto the course for the following term.
4.3 If you do not notify Be Our Guest Performers by the sixth week of the course that you do not wish for the student to be re-enrolled onto the following term of the course, then you will remain liable for half of the full term fees in respect of the next term, regardless of attendance of the student.
5 WORKSHOPS & HOLIDAY CAMPS
5.1 If you cancel a students place on a Holiday Workshop outside of the cancellation period, the payment will be retained by Be Our Guest Princesses.
6. HEALTH & SAFETY
6.1 Students participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform Be Our Guest Performers and its staff of any existing injuries or medical condition. All application forms must have any known medical conditions stated and any changes to such information must be notified to Be Our Guest immediately.
6.2 If you are unsure whether a student should participate in an activity please consult the students GP before enrolling the student on a Be Our Guest Performers activity.
6.3 Any medication left at Be Our Guest Palace must be clearly labelled.
6.4 Students must wear suitable footwear and clothing at all times. Fancy dress is acceptable for themed Holiday Workshops and special dates, Be Our Guest Performers will notify parents when allowed.
6.5 If a student is unwell or has an accident requiring emergency treatment, the Parent will be contacted via the emergency contact details provided below or on the enrolment form. This number must always be contactable whilst the student is attending a Be Our Guest Performers activity.
6.6 Parents are solely responsible for ensuring that the emergency contact details are up to date.
7. PERSONAL PROPERTY
7.1 Students are obligated to take care of their own belongings, Be Our Guest Performers can accept no liability for lost or damaged belongings.
7.2 You acknowledge that the maximum aggregate liability of Be Our Guest Performers to a student or parent under these Terms & Conditions shall not exceed the Be Our Guest Performers activity fee to which a claim relates.
7.3 The liability of Be Our Guest Performers and that of its staff is restricted to class time only and then only to gross negligence.
8. GENERAL
8.1 Be Our Guest Performers may, at their own discretion, refuse a student entry to a Be Our Guest Performers activity to session if it is felt the student’s behaviour is unacceptable.
8.2 Be Our Guest Performers reserves the right to make changes to the timetable, the teaching staff and the advertised programme in the event of illness or other circumstances beyond our control.
8.3 Where a session of a Be Our Guest Performers activity has to be cancelled Be Our Guest Princesses, staff will give as much notice as possible. In the event of a last minute cancellation, you will be notified by email, text message or a call to your mobile number. Parents therefore must ensure you provide Be Our Guest Performers with up to date contact details.
In the event of Be Our Guest Performers being cancelled, Be Our Guest Performers will provide substitute lessons where possible. If no alternative can be offered, Be Our Guest Performers will provide refunds for lessons that are unable to be fulfilled.
8.4 It is occasionally necessary to change the time of a Be Our Guest Performers activity session. This will only be done if absolutely necessary and if Be Our Guest Palace is not available due to extreme circumstances.
8.5 In the event that a student is unable to attend a Be Our Guest Performers session due to sickness, holiday or a decision by the parent or student not to attend, Be Our Guest Performers regrets that it is unable to refund any payment.
8.6 All students must be collected on time after a session. Be Our Guest Performers are unable to supervise students after a session and consistent late collection will result in additional charges.
8.7 Be Our Guest Performers fees are reviewed and may vary.
8.8 These terms & conditions, together with any communication regarding fees, constitute the entire agreement between the parties which supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between the booker whether written or oral, relation to its subject matter.
8.9 In the event that one of more of the provisions of the agreement are found to be unlawful or otherwise enforceable, these provisions shall be deemed severed from the remainder of the agreement.
8.10 The agreement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales any any dispute, proceedings or claim shall fall within the jurisdiction of the English courts.
